Embed Shares on a website

Add a responsive Framebird gallery to a portfolio, client portal, article, or any site that accepts custom HTML. An embed can show photos, videos, documents, and other files already included in your Share.

Share embeds are available on Pro and higher plans.

Create an embed

Open the Share dialog

Open the Share in Framebird, click Share, then choose Embed this Share beside the Share link and QR code.

Choose what visitors see

Turn Show title, Show description, and Show filter bar on or off. The preview updates immediately.

Copy the embed code

Click Copy embed code, then paste the iframe into a custom HTML or embed block on your website.

The display settings are part of the iframe URL. You can reuse the same code on another site without configuring the Share again. The embed keeps the Share’s grid layout, spacing, and tile settings.

What visitors can do

Visitors can browse the grid and open a file in a clean lightbox. Comments, review statuses, downloads, version controls, and file metadata are not shown in the embedded viewer. Password protection and Share expiration still apply.

Responsive sizing

The copied code uses the full width of its container and a 640 px height, capped at 85% of the viewport. Change the height in the iframe’s style attribute when your page needs a shorter or taller gallery. Keep width:100% for responsive layouts.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure your website builder allows iframe or custom HTML blocks.
  • If the frame is blocked, allow your Framebird Share domain in the host site’s Content Security Policy frame-src directive.
  • Do not add CORS headers to the host page. Loading an iframe does not use CORS.
  • If you downgrade below Pro, existing embeds stop displaying until an eligible plan is active again. The normal Share link is unaffected.
